Since opening our doors in 2015, Wiry Smiles has provided Mooresville and Salisbury with professional dental services. We recently opened our third office in Charlotte. Dr. Jack C. Case
Dr. Christina Quarterman is originally from Daytona Beach, Fl. She grew up in the office of her mother, Dr. Robbin Quarterman, who has been a general dentist in Daytona Beach for over 30 years. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for dentistry and people.
Dr. Quarterman attended Florida State University where she majored in Real Estate and Small Business Management. She completed her dental training at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. While at Meharry she served as Student Government Executive Vice President, as well as Senior Class President.
After dental school, she went on to complete residency at Howard University in Washington, DC, where she obtained a Certificate in Orthodontics.
During her tenure at Howard, Dr. Quarterman completed a mission trip to Nairobi, Kenya, where she and friends helped to build a library at one of the local schools. She recently obtained her MBA from Wake Forest University, graduating in August 2019.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, playing tennis and cheering on the Florida State Seminoles. Dr. Quarterman is excited about being at Wiry Smiles and can’t wait to meet all of you!
Dr. Starks was born and raised in Colombia, where the mountains are big and always green.
She graduated valedictorian from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia School of Dentistry and ranked #2 in the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry. She completed a fellowship in orthodontic clinical research and graduated with a Master of Science in Dentistry and a Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics from Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics. Dr. Starks is certified by the American Board of Orthodontists, the highest commitment to excellence.
In her own words: “Connecting with people from different cultures has taught me empathy, kindness and to keep an open heart anywhere I go. Being an orthodontist is one of my greatest passions, but I also love dancing, yoga, painting, eating berries, and having extra time to enjoy a sunset with my family”.
Dr. Jack C. Case is from Charlotte and after high school he attended UNC-Chapel Hill for Undergraduate, Dental School, and Orthodontic Residency. He graduated with honors at all levels of his education. Dr. Case has practiced orthodontics for 40 years and feels blessed to have worked with so many patients, staff, and Orthodontic Colleagues. He is married to Lori Case (34 years) and has two daughters and two granddaughters. Outside the office Dr. Case enjoys singing in the choir at church, traveling with friends and family, and a little golf.
Dr. Case is very excited to be part of the Wiry Smiles Team and is looking forward to meet you and your beautiful smiles!
